- Jamie Stewart (XIU XIU)
- Owen Ashworth (Casiotone for the Painfully Alone)
@ Yoyogi Park, Tokyo Oct. 2003

Jamie: One thing I wanna see was anything, was vampire girl doing Tai-chi. I don't know that...

Owen: I saw a dog dressed like a grease shirt, like a movie grease...

Jamie: I wonder everybody, the teenage girls' parents think that how do they walk at th house, like with black blood droping on the face, you know, how do they do that?

Owen: When I was in a high school, I'd had poor jeans, I was not allowed to ware it at my house. And I wore pants over there, and I'm doing "See you" and when I go around the corner, take other pants off. So maybe a little same things, maybe I did same things, maybe the same daffle bag, like full of fake blood...

Jamie: Sounds interesting.

Tom: I don't think so. I think that girls do all what they want. And parents are too shy in Japan to camplain.

Owen: I imagine as the kids getting turn out, but the father just totally screamed out for being disgraceful.

Tom: But, I don't know... Does Japanese harder scream until kids?? I think 2 years ago, it was much more crazy in Tokyo. Now everything looks really normal to me, like European style. But 2 years ago, it was crazy, Manga-style, future Sci Fi, really stronge art people, especially girls.

Jamie: Is it just teenagers?

Tom: Teenagers girls. Not my generation, a little bit younger that me, like Owen's age. And also, boys very dressed up and very crazy hairstyles. Now changed, all disappeared.

Jamie: Maybe all went back Jupiter!

Tom: Yes! It's funny! Because at first I saw it here and some day it was like Dior was that style!

Jamie: Oh, wow!

Tom: Yes, Dave Denis, a French fashion designer was some day doing this style twenties old like punk rock looking Sci Fi fashion, some how it seems beging imported from here. And now it's really, now you have all these crazy art people, maybe in Europe. The place, here, vampire girls and gothic looking people as the same as before. Change is just less.

Jamie: Only in like holidays, Hellowin... but at this like some clubs, but like people wear just go to the club just like that, people would be dressed everyday. They are that it's really terrible! Awful fashion in Seatle right now, called utilikilts just like a really urgry! It's like these are really like guys who into like a roll-playing-games. That is bunny man is sort of just like a really bad. Ya, a kind of like, this is really like people who have like office computer jobs have like really really street lives, like maybe one year like go out desney, go to be crazy, like mad party... It's really bad. Utilikilts for some reason, I only see it in Seatle. And it's like same clothes like Matrix, something like that... It's not even crazy fashion, just heart breaking... It's not so crazy.

Owen: I feel like the community in Portland, these punk kids, strangely poor north part... Rather than, people making around the clothes I'm doing around stetching. A lot of people make it. So it's very handy and crafty, but I think it's really nice, but it's difinitely like dominante fashion sense in Portland. But I think it's a lot of interesting in those fashion, because there are no cormmerce and law, people doing themselves, I think it's much more inspiring. Fashion is a kind of depress to me, like they spend too much time, like shops and buticks. I just get really sad. I think money is depressed to me.

Jamie: Yes, nothing all to do it!

Owen: Just I'm watching people spend money like everytime I broke in a store. How do they sell things it's discount I will be depressed.

Tom: Japan is all about shopping.

Jamie: It's very strange.

Owen: It's extreme here. That it's really fasinating. But I think I'd have really hard time living in, but it's wonderful to visit, the opposite end of especial wanna I used to.

Jamie: I bought some tiger sox for Tom in Kyoto, actually it's a pretty normal store. But those ones are paticularly fansy, he is reminding me often, when he looks at tiger in Europe.

Tom: Why the tiger?

Owen: Wild tiger!?

Jamie: Wild tiger! Maybe felt very stronge!
