Skart, a Belgrade based art & design group will have a lecture in Tokyo! Balkan was in war in 90's. Some broken buildings which were bombed by NATO still exsist in Belgrade. In this situation, Skart (means 'scrap' in Serbian) was formed by Dragan Protic and Djordje Balmazovic in 1990. So far they have done many exhibitions, lectures, workshops in Europe, America and Balkan. They call theirselves "collective-in-progress based it's activities on "samizdat/samodat" (selfproduction/selfdistribution) critical communication". Publishing a book about personal sadness, coupons which printed "power", "money", etc., formed a choir group for refugees... They are continuing to make very critical art works towards society. In this time, they will have a lecture about "Nothing for Beginning". How we should make art & design from non-budget at the starting point? This issue is very interesting for artists and culators. They will show us their works also.
